Perhaps Aaron was using the term *OWN* in a somewhat ironic and  
hyperbolic way, or other more figurative, not-entirely literal sense.  
Consumerism aside, the fact that mere citizens can possess a copy of a  
work of art, view it as many times and whenever they choose, etc. IS  
revolutionary as it fulfills, for this kind of work, the possibilities  
inherent in mechanical reproducability, i.e. the destruction of the  
aura.
