[Frameworks] 16mm production co-ops??

Are there any organizations in the U.S. that have a pool of 16mm gear they allow folks to check out and use for free or for a mimimal membership fee? I know there used to be, but I don't know what's up currently.

I ask because I have a bunch of 16mm equipment I need to part with and I'm never going to get around to trying to dispose of it on eBay. So I'd be willing to donate it to a good home / worthy cause. Most of what I have are cameras (including several Beaulieu R16s) that have one or two little things wrong with them -- but could be made serviceable without a major overhall (that is, the general mechanical condition is good other than the specific problems). So the ideal recipient would be someplace connected with a service person who works cheap or pro bono.
