mailed over 25 rolls of 16mm and S-8 snd. K40 Monday. Wednesday i sent priority next day via Fedex six 100' rolls K40, which is currently lost somewhere in transit according to Fedex. Kodachrome was a large part of my filmmaking process.

Yep--back in the 70s when Kodachrome S8 was easier to buy than B/W (over the counter almost anywhere) I used to reverse process it for black & white routinely.Ed

Shoot it and get it processed as B&W.

Or use it in an art work.

It can still be art!

I sent out 4 rolls of 16mm (expired 1981), 2 rolls of S8 (exp 1999) and 2 rolls of slide film on Tuesday.

 On a side note:

In the summer I shot one roll of 2008 expired 16mm Kodachrome (in a perfect plastic 100ft new box) and one roll of 1981 expired 16mm Kodachrome in a rusty old 100ft tin,  the two rolls came back looking identical to one another!!  I sort of did it as a test to see if the 1981 rolls I had were any good or not... Well amazingly they were as fresh as the 2 year old stock!

I shot both rolls in S16, as a I had no choice (my camera is converted)... The 2008 roll was single perf and the older roll was double perf.   I casually mentioned to Dwayne’s that I had shot them S16 and IF they could do anything to develop that area I would be grateful, I said even if it weren’t true S16, just anything past the edge would be great....    Well they both came back full S16!   Who knew they could process S16 Kodachrome, but what a treat!
