programs a variety of documentary events including film screenings,
readings, and lectures. *

*This weekend, UnionDocs is excited to host Coleman Miller, "l'enfant
terrible" of the experimental film community, who will present Uso Justo and
other shorts <http://t.ymlp60.com/myqsalambbafaehmbapauj/click.php>.  Miller
has been making compelling film and video work for over 25 years, utilizing
a variety of found footage, collage, and various other mash-up
experimentation which has earned him fans like Bruce Conner, Isabella
Rossellini, Craig Baldwin, and Jonathan Caouette (Tarnation), who will be
present to introduce the evening.  Miller will be joined in discussion by
filmmakers Mark Street and Katherin McInnis to follow. This is Miller's
first solo screening in New York City, and the most comprehensive program of
his work exhibited to date.

A selection of shorts by Chicago-based experimental filmmaker Coleman
Miller. Miller in attendance, joined by filmmakers Mark Street and Katherin
McInnis for discussion. Jonathan Caouette (Tarnation) will introduce the
evening.

like being a five year old in a brand new sandbox. Or playing with blocks.
You start mixing and matching things… *just to see*. Then maybe a leaf blows
into the sandbox and you incorporate that. Soon you have a foundation and it
all flows from there. The hardest part is getting up from the sandbox and
saying ‘Done’. But really, any sandbox will do.” – Coleman Miller
