[Frameworks] Film's rupture

I think that one could make an argument that the jump cuts in Godard's early
films, particularly the "machine gun" sequence in Vivre Sa Vie,  constitute
a rupture as it was originally described in this thread. Rupture need not be
a litteral break or abrasion?
