[Frameworks] removing tape residue from a negative

Would lighter fluid or Isopropyl alcohol also be useful for cleaning film 
transports and as a general film lubricant?

I would suggest using naphta, which is available commercially as lighter fluid 
or coleman fuel. Won't damage film.
