If you are shooting under normal floro lights.
Really ought not to be a prolem, with the Aaton running at 24 crystal
(if shooting in the USA)
If the bolex was spring driven, that could lead to the problem, also at
64 fps you are getting less than one pulse per frame, and it is probably
not evenly dividing into frames so some frames will have more of a pulse
than the other. at 8 fps, there are multiple pulses so the difference
between would be less noticeable.

will act much the same.
