I'm confused here.  Almost all of my friends who bought large HD flat screens remarked in the first week that they were astonished or disconcerted by the detail in facial close ups on HD TV and/or Blu-Ray discs.  A few days ago in a sports bar I heard someone remark when a closeup of the pitcher's face came up, "hey he needs a shave!"
