Cinema

The Board of Directors of Cinemapolis, a
well-established, independent, non-profit cinema in
downtown Ithaca, New York, seek a dynamic Executive
Director with a passion for film, knowledge of
independent and international cinema, and experience
in non-profit theater operations.

The position of Executive Director is critical to
the continuing success of Cinemapolis. The Executive
Director plans and manages every aspect of the
theater's operations, from film selection and
bookings to concessions, record keeping, promotion,
development, and community outreach and engagement.

With a new five-screen theater, a twenty-five year
history of showing the best in foreign and
independent films in Ithaca, and a very loyal
audience throughout Tompkins County, Cinemapolis
offers a wonderful opportunity for the next
Executive Director to develop the theater in
exciting, new directions.

Salary commensurate with experience.
