[Frameworks] Researching Touch in Cinema

Though I admit to have only read the following on the subject of touch and cinema, I daresay this *brilliantly* written book will be your first and last stop: 'The Tactile Eye: Touch and the Cinematic Experience' by Jennifer M. Barker. Each chapter is labeled as follows:
Introduction:  Eye Contact1)  Skin2)  Musculature3)  VisceraConclusion:  Inspiration
For me it was one of those books that deftly wove all the disparate stands of my interests and ambitions, seemingly from the font of my own experiences. One of those books that I'd frequently drop into my lap mid-read, throw my head back, and cast thanks into the ether in recognition that I had indeed been on the right path all along. In/joy...
