[Frameworks] Presenting a film by Myron Ort

Myron, a couple questions (I watched for while):

Does the direct-on-film working method have to have New York City (or any such
urban architectural space) and the 40s associated with it? The soundtrack, the
use of found footage, the association with a certain kind of painting from the
40s, all reinforce this association.

Does the presentation of the film in a website window ask us to consider it as
something other than a film? It now shares its placement on a computer desktop
with a wide variety of other "new" media forms, and thus cannot ask for the
attention one would give it in theatrical projection. How could such work be
modified to interact with its presentational context?

Bernie

I am experimenting with presentation. Willingly collaborating with
the idiosyncrasies of internet digital streaming.

You can view online one of several (hand-painted) films I have made
in the last couple of years, now streaming at my website for a
limited time.

You might try the "Full Screen" option.
