[Frameworks] 16mm Xenon projection suggestion please

When we used to do the Milwaukee Outdoor Experimental Film Festival, it was outside in a public city park.
We used a screen, and used sandbags to hold it down, because yes, it is like a sail, and the 1st year, 
the screen blew over, while we were projecting Robert Nelson's 'Bleu Shut.'

(Pretty funny that it was during that film, and most of the audience thought it was a special effect, haha.
BUT when you are dealing with expensive rental equipment, the sight of the screen blowing over will stop your heart.)

We used an Eiki portable Xenon projector, that was on a picnic table, we had a 12' x 16' screen, so our distance was determined by that.
I don't remember what lens we had on the projector.

Another thing about your 30' tall platform, unless you or a projectionist are planning to sit up there the ENTIRE. TIME. you are projecting, 
that's not a good idea.  Film projection is so finicky, that you must be able to attend the projector immediately if/when the film
skips, breaks etc......

I recently found a flyer for our MOEFF, and it says start time 9pm.  At first I though that was late, but then I remembered that it was barely 
dark enough to see the projection well at that time.  Being summer and all.......

We also turned the lights off in the park, but had no real problems w/ ambient light. Our screen was in a gazeebo with the river behind it, so no 
light bleeding through behind.

My 2¢ worth about outdoor projection.....  :)
