[Frameworks] Cinematograph 7

I'm sorry to say this but the short story about the MIA "Cinematograph 7" is that it does not exist. There was even a "book launch" screening but the reality is that this book was stalled in production and has fallen onto the back burner. Infinite delay, sorry to say. But one day it will likely emerge...

Cautiously, this may be an opportune moment to make a "soft" announcement that I/we (San Francisco Cinematheque) have begun planning work on yet another issue of our "occasional" journal Cinematograph (which I hope to call "Cinematograph 8" in honor of the missing #7) which will be largely focused on oral histories and interviews. Please consider this a "soft" invitation for proposals. We're interested in new interviews as well as any of those unpublished things sitting on shelves and hard drives.
Please write to polta at sfcinematheque.org for more information.

Thanks,

Steve Polta
Artistic Director
San Francisco Cinematheque

Hi Jonathan,

Have you contacted the San Francisco Cinematheque directly?  The "store"
section of their website is not live, but they should still be able to sell
you a copy I think (unless it's sold out).
