Withoutabox may indeed be a kind of dead end, where films without invitations go to die. Or not. I don't know. 

I do know John Columbus from Black Maria, though. He is not an asshole. 

Some people hold film fests
And they get called an asshole
This should never happen to
John Columbus
He could walk down your street
And beam a sincere smile
So John Columbus should never be called an asshole.
