Dear Frameworkers,

It is with heavy heart that i announce the passing of experimental animator Karen Aqua, who passed away yesterday in Cambridge, MA.  Karen's hand-drawn animation work was inspired in tribal rhythms and multicultural imagery, and her infamous "Parade of Numbers" is still airing on Sesame Street after several decades.  To all who knew and loved Karen and her whimsical work, details of her memorial service will be announced by her partner and long-time collaborator Ken Field later this week.
