The website for the series presents a remarkable and rich resource for the history of the US Experimental film scene.  Given the somewhat understandable but unfortunate development of much, if not most, writing on the cinema avant garde within an East Coast universe, the West Coast and LA in particular has been unjustly neglected.  This could be assigned in classes on experimental film and provides a great starting point for exploration and expansion.  Thanks to all who worked on it!
