You might be interested in Sarah Pucill's "Taking My Skin," a clip (with mirror) of which can be found here:

There's lots of mother/daughter mirroring in the film, if that fits in thematically with what you're looking for.

Best,
RB

Dear Meg and Frameworks,

I'm co-curating a related film series at Duke University. Our program, "Mirror, Mirror," explores the presence of the mirror and its visual analogs in contemporary women's filmmaking. I have a few titles in mind, but would also appreciate more suggestions.

Baby . Hester Sheurwater . 2m . 2006
Place for Landing . Shambhavi Kaul . 6m . 2010
Water Sark Joyce Weiland . 14m . 1965
Measures of Distance . Mona Hatoum . 15m . 1988

Thank you,

Dear Frameworks: I would relish suggestions for a screening I am filling out here at the University of Cambridge. We are trying to explore how feminist film studies can provide a framework and language for looking at the images of women that female filmmakers create, as well as opening a discussion about the realities of women in various film industries. I would love any thoughts you may have.

my thanks--Meg Jamieson
