[Frameworks] shooting and hand processing expired film

Hi Frameworks I was wondering if you had any tips for shooting and then for
the hand processing of expired black and white Tri-X film.
Like, does the film tend to want more or less light when it is old and was
not stored properly at all...
Does it take more time or less time in comparison to "good" film with the
developer? I wanted to push this film like 2 or 3 stops is that something
that is harder to achieve - pushing many stops - when the film is old?
Also it may have vinegar syndrome or that may just be a musty smell. Does
Reversal or Prints stock get vinegar syndrome - does it spread to reels and
cameras and then to other film?
That is a lot - any tips on any of it would be fun.
xKat
