[Frameworks] 8mm slitter

Although the concept is simple, it is not so easy to make something
reliable. Notice the one in the lower left of this photo, that seems
to be the Baia which used to sell for under $10. It is so simple, but
I don't know of anyone making something like this anymore.

It would be simple to manufacture, but I guess there just is not
enough call for it these days. The film is split at the between the
sharp edges of the off-set steel cylindrical spools.

Good luck find someone locally who may have one or something equivalent.
