[Frameworks] burning DVDs with different aspect ratios

Hey folks!
how would you go about burning a compilation DVD, with a collection of different shorts, each with a different aspect ratio?so that they all play back correctly from a regular DVD deck?
So far I've tried with Adobe Encore & an Oppo deck but no luck, looks like I'd have to change the aspect ratio on the projector for each short
I'm using PC/ubuntu (no mac)
all tips gratefully received!
