PLUG Projects announces a call for entries for *FPS, *an ongoing series of
video, film and new media. *FPS *is

co-curated by PLUG Projects and Kansas City filmmaker and professor,
Caitlin Horsmon. Selections for screening

reflect themes of current exhibitions on view at PLUG Projects.



This installment of *FPS *expands upon the works in, *Secrets, *a group
exhibition*. *When one encounters a work of

art that hints at a possibility of meaning but keeps it just out of reach,
mystery arises. The balance of what is

given and what is obscured creates a potent dynamic of tensions and
resolutions. The viewer encountering the

work, is then forced to grapple for clues, which are sometimes hidden in
the work but are more often located

in the viewer's mind.


Screening will take place on Friday December 14, 2012.

must be postmarked by

MATERIALS TO SUBMIT

Please ll out the entry form completely and sign it. A separate entry form
is required for each title. In addition

to your entry, please enclose a description or synopsis of your entry along
with a short biography for

the lm/video maker(s) and stills from your lm/video either on the DVD with
your entry, a separate CD, or

with instructions on how to access the stills online.

Installation Works: The series is not accepting submissions of installation
work.

VIDEO FORMATS

Entries can be submitted on DVD or BluRay (NTSC or PAL), digital le, or
online preview. Those choosing the

online preview option should submit a url and should note that they may
have to send their work on a DVD

or drive for exhibition.

We can screen 16mm and Super-8mm; DVD, BluRay, Mini-DV (NTSC only), and
Digital Files.

Foreign language work must be subtitled in English.

AUTHORIZATION

The entrant authorizes a public screening of the work at Plug Projects and
agrees to provide an exhibition

copy for the period of the screening

*December 12-16, 2012*. Additionally, the entrant authorizes the festival

to make copies of their preview tape or DVD for press use.

NOTIFICATION

You will be notied by
