FEED YOUR FOOD

You won’t be able to take your eyes off the screen with this dazzlingly array of short animations and films in Ingenuity Fest’s presentation of ‘Feed Your Food’. There are fleeting glimpses of the reproductive habits of marine animals, musing about cultural and sexual identity, along with childhood traumas, and a smorgasbord of nature, food, eating, and entropy. Misshapen dolls, some that move and sing, are strewn like jewels across the screen, and a host of other hipsters pulse in weirdly climax: the film series celebrates creativity, which, after all, can happen to any of us. Think imaginative experiment in green urban redevelopment, a banquet that comes to a crashing end, or hamburger diaries.

The venue for ‘Feed Your Food’ is unforgettable: a city bus with darkened windows and HD screen parked along Docks 32 and 30 on the lakefront north of Browns Stadium; it captures the elemental Cleveland strength of eating while driving.

Includes films by: Gregg Biermann, Jesse Russell Brooks, Kristen Baumlier-Faber, Ivy Garrigan, Marcin Gizycki, Sarah Klein, Yuliya Lanina, Diane Nerwen, Elaine Tin Nyo, Zofia Oraczewska, Lila Voss, Agni Zotis, and others.
