[Frameworks] Rally for The Donnell Media Center Wednesday: Accurate Information

Of course Elena has an agenda, the exact same one you have, which is to
keep this system alive and kicking. Yes, the Reserve Film and Video
Collection exists partly as a legacy project - as in it works towards
acquiring, storing, preserving, and providing ACCESS to underrepresented
16mm films that would otherwise not be available for your viewing. But
Instead of rallying around the death of a collection that still exists,
maybe people should actually GO to the Library of Performing Arts as
patrons. Recognize that the media materials are still available - waiting
for you (pretty sure that's all Elena was trying to get at).

Inject some energy into the institution, it is an important resource - lack
of use is the epic tragedy.

Btw, Pooh and friends haven't been trashed either. They're on view at 42nd
St.
