In a pinch, I think you can rent dorm rooms during the summer at UCLA. At last you used to be able to-- a great location of course. The best.


You might also be able to sneak into the film class showings on campus, too-- or ask the professors.

Hello. My name is Haley Markbreiter. I'm the programming chair at Doc Films (http://docfilms.uchicago.edu/dev/), a student-run cinematheque operating out of the University of Chicago. We have seven repertory programs a week, with prints -- and audience members -- from around the world. 


Anyway. I'll be in LA this summer, working in the script department at River Road Entertainment. I've been looking for a place to rent, but haven't had any luck. I'll be in LA from late June to mid-September, and it would just be great to live with -- or, at least, be in contact with -- someone who really loves movies, and can show me where to see something good.
