Good morning Frameworkers,

I hope this message finds you all well and enjoying the spring weather.

I
wanted to mention that TONIGHT SUNDAY APRIL 13th, MONO NO AWARE will present the second installment of our
CONNECTIVITY THROUGH CINEMA series. We are happy to have Tara Nelson with us in person to present THE LAST DAYS OF CAPRICORN, a program of new work on Super 8mm. Full details can be found here: http://mononoawarefilm.com/special-engagements/connectivity-through-cinema-with-tara-nelson-in-person/

"Tara’s work delves deep into the personal cinema, imploring
universal imagery to reveal hidden memories, meet befallen expectations, and
pronounce (sometimes dark) emotions. Whether the film is presented as a single channel or
part of a hybrid performance/participation, the viewer is always thoughtfully
woven into the experience." -MNA

Also
attached is the press kit for the screening, feel free to pass this
along to friends, students and colleagues in the greater New York area.
The screening series will continue through the year with Leslie
Thornton on May 4th.

Best,

Steve Cossman
Founder / Director
MONO NO AWARE

The CONNECTIVITY THROUGH CINEMA series will present the work of
artists, film-makers and curators who are traveling or presenting special
interactive programs in-person. Our hope is to engage the community by
showing work with a focus on post-screening discussion and audience
participation.
