[Frameworks] Fibonacci Sequence

Dan Sandin’s Spiral Series 1-5 are Fibonacci algorithms driving a vector-graphics display. Not film, but lovely. Spiral 5 is especially striking. I think the Data Bank has them.

Abigail Child mentioned that the structure of “Surface Noise” is based on the Fibonacci sequence when she screened it at the Harn Museum a decade ago.  I’m not sure I understood exactly what she meant—I hadn’t sensed it in watching the film—but I’d be curious to look again with that in mind.  (She mentioned it in Q&A after the screening.)
