Hi all!

I am happy to announce I've created an online shop (http://blogspot.us5.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1b5835a7d05a6ecb46fdb1abc&id=4a210e754c&e=f1ad981123) to sell film stock and other film goodies to the public. I've been meaning to do this for ages! The shop has film for sale, both Super 8 and 16mm (and even a big can of 35mm print stock!), plus a 6-plate Steenbeck is up for sale at the moment too. I can only list 5 different products in the shop at any one time, but when these sell I will put other things up for sale including some 16mm and Super 8 projectors. I also list things on ebay (http://blogspot.us5.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1b5835a7d05a6ecb46fdb1abc&id=769e2931c3&e=f1ad981123) (my name is 'Stormdrop' - don't ask! haha).
I'm really happy to be stocking Adox Pan-X too (main picture), it's a very very nice b/w reversal film stock that replaces the gap left by Kodak discontinuing Plus-X a few years back!



** Change to Workshop plans!

As you know from the last newsletter, I'm running a Super 8 Filmmaking workshop, but I've had to move the dates due to something else happening at the venue I was going to use, so instead of being this weekend, it's now scheduled for next weekend, the 25th and 26th October, and will be held at the lovely Alchemy Photography Studio in Bradford who have kindly offered me their space for the weekend. It's a 5 minute walk from both Bradford Interchange and Bradford Forster Square stations, and Bradford rules, it's very cinematic. :)

There are just 2 spaces left for the workshop (full capacity is 8 people, to keep it as intensive as possible), so if you'd like to book, email me at: cherrykino at gmail.com

Here's my latest piece! It's a music video for The Travelling Band (http://blogspot.us5.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1b5835a7d05a6ecb46fdb1abc&id=202fe54f22&e=f1ad981123) . Hope you like it! Shot partly at Portmeirion, the amazing place in Wales where Patrick McGoohan's classic cult TV series 'The Prisoner' was filmed back in the '60s. The film features Katie Brown (my amazing friend and very creative person),
Jo Dudderidge (vocalist) and Nick Vaal (drummer).

There are only six of these colour reversal Super 8 cartridges left! Such a beautiful film stock.
Really silver-rich emulsion on this black and white 16mm stock. Love it.
