Warum kann ich nirgendwo ein Programm mit genauen Zeiten etc finden? Ist das Symposium als eine Art Geheimtreffen geplant 😊 ? Hoffentlich nicht, denn ich hätte durchaus Interesse an einer Teilnahme, zumindest teilweise. Also bitte…

LaborBerlin invites you to the International Symposium Film in the Present Tense, which will take place at the Universität der Künste Berlin (UdK).

Despite all its present challenges, we see analog film as a living medium, offering an endless source of creative possibilities. Join us for panels on the contemporary state of archiving, film education, film culture, hybrid strategies and analog projection; and experience the uniqueness of film with screenings, expanded cinema and installations.

International artists, filmmakers, technicians and writers, all working with and around analog film, will discuss and formulate ideas, possibilities and plans of action for keeping film current, alive and in the present tense.
