[Frameworks] Looking to buy Bolex or similar

Hi George:

I have a fairly rare bird I’m willing to sell: a spring drive Beaulieu R16. 

I’m posting this to the list to give Jeff a chance to crap on it’s French idiosyncracies. ;-) Perhaps he will go easy on me/it as we are brothers in the Church of the 10mm Switar?? Cheers to Scott for joining the fold, and may you too George hear the Word.

The Beaulieu hasn’t been used since it was serviced by Jean Louis Seguin several years back… assuming Jean-Louis is still in business, then there’s at least one source for service.

I don’t have a price in mind now, as I have no idea what’s fair, haven’t researched the market or anything. (Any thoughts, or interest from other Frameworkers welcome). If there’s any curiosity, I can go into my thoughts on the relative features and virtues/drawbacks vs. a Bolex. Simple version: love rhe mechanical reliability of the Bolex, don’t like the RX system at all vs. Bealieu moving mirror finder and standard C-mount.
