[Frameworks] Maysles Cinema streams 12 speculative docs for free

Dear Frameworkers,

Maysles Cinema is excited to announce our month-long series AFTER
CIVILIZATION streaming July 16th- August 15th for free. It includes twelve
films that together interrogate the concept of western "civilization" for
its imperial charge and deep roots in settler-colonialism. While some
filmmakers recast observational footage to imagine the future, others
invoke surreal imagery to visualize the fragility of their distinct
settings. Part ethnographic, part science fiction, After Civilization
reckons with ecological crisis and the ongoing material violences of
dispossession, while gesturing toward a future of collective liberation.
