[Frameworks] Conference announcement: The Shifting Ecologies of Photochemical Film in Digital Era, 7-11 June

Dear Frameworkers,

I’d like to draw your attention to a free online conference hosted by Aberystwyth University and jointly organised by me, Marcy Saude and Christo Wallers: The Shifting Ecologies of Photochemical Film in the Digital Era. We have an exciting line-up of presentations, performances and screenings by artists, academics, curators and archivists. Please find the schedule attached. The conference runs from Monday June 7 – Friday June 11. All times listed are BST (UK time). We kick off with a discussion between Gregory Zinman and Jonathan Walley and continue with two panels on Pandemic Production and Transmateriality. We opted for the parallel session format for the rest of the week to accommodate as many of the proposals as possible but most presentations will be recorded and made available to conference participants for a limited time.
