[Frameworks] Experimental films with drawings

The film Fred mentioned, Owen Land/George Landow's The Film That Rises to the Surface of Clarified Butter, is on the "Masterworks of American Avant-Garde Film" Blu-Ray/DVD set from Flicker Alley and also seems to be viewable on Alexander Street (if you have institutional access) and on Fandor.

There is a very early George Landow (he later changed his name to Owen Land)  film titled  The Film that Rises to the Surface of Clarified Butter. It includes animated drawing, but not in the full frame illusionistic way. Like all his best films, it is extremely strange and I think quite great. Don't know how you can see it though.
