Hi Matt,

I'm interested in talking to you about this.

You also might be interested in looking into Robert Schaller's Wilderness Filmmaking Trip in the Rockies - because of his methods in the field.

Dear Folks,

I'm looking for discussion resources around the sustainability of filming, cutting, and projecting on film. Preferably from filmmakers themselves who have a commitment to environemtental stewardship in their own lives—or whose work engages directly the more than human world.

Writings, interviews, films that focus on other mediums could be helpful. The personal concerns I'm thinking of would be wrestled with by artists working in most mediums.
So far, I have some eco-critical texts from an art history vantage point, looking primarily at extraction colonialism. Hoping for more from tje artists themselves.

thank you always,
Matt
