The ones in my meter are M2.0x7.... two millimeters around, 7mm long, standard
metric pitch.  Probably too small for a hardware store to have in stock but
a model railroad shop or a camera repair shop will have them.

Incidentally, this is probably the most common cine meter made... they are
basically copies of the old Norwood Director.  They are hard to kill.
