Hi Amanda,
Thanks a lot !
It is exactly the same formulas I saw on filmlabs.org.
I was wondering if we can do the 1st bath with this formula, and then continue with CD developer and Bleax from Tetenal, and if anyone has ever tried.
Thanks !

Hi Esher & l'Etna! (..and everyone else on the thread)

I don't know Derek, so can't help you there, but I recently came across this E6 Alternative from Robert Schaller in the REMI zine from a few years back, I imagine you have one of them kicking around, pg 27. I've attached the image of it, but know that can be tricky, so will type it out too...

in total darkness:
-D-19 w/ Thiocyanate (2g/L) ...6min @ 37C
-ECP2 Stop bath (kodak SB-14), or any b+w stop bath-- mix up a SEPARATE solution used only as a b+w stop bath .....1min

in normal room light:
Reexposure - pasing the film end-to-end 6 inches from a 500W bulb seems adequate
-ECP2 Developer (kodak SD-50) ....3min @ 36.7C
-water rinse ....1min
-Ferricyanide Bleach (kodak SR-27) --the temperature is important, or it won't work! ....5min @ 37C
-water rinse --a thorough rinse is important here! ....1+min
-Fixer (kodak F-35c or equivalent: must be a non-acid, non-hardening fixer!) ....3 - 5min
-running water rinse .....5min

I hope this is helpful! I'm no chemist, only the messenger :). But maybe Robert's reading, if there are questions?

Warmly,
Amanda

Subject: [Frameworks] E6 processing
Hi everyone,

I am part of l'Etna lab in Montreuil, France.

We are looking to reach Derek Watkins to have advices about E6 processing formulas.
I tried to write to him on his adress published on his website, but the email came back to me with an error message.

Does anyone know how to join him ?

Thanks a lot,
