[Frameworks] MONO NO AWARE XVI : Cinema Arts Festival Program Invitation

Greetings frame-workers,

MONO NO AWARE would like to extend a formal invitation to all community
members for our 16th anniversary exhibition
<http://mononoawarefilm.com/mono-no-aware-xvi_program> of expanded cinema,
performance, installation and sculpture that incorporates the moving
image.  As we are presenting the festival every two years, the 2020 event
did not take place in NYC, this is our first festival in 4 years.

The five night program
<http://mononoawarefilm.com/mono-no-aware-xvi_program> is free, all ages
and open to the public thanks to support from the National Endowment for
the Arts, the New York State Council on the Arts, Our year-round partners,
Festival sponsors-in-kind and every person who takes a workshop, rents
equipment, purchases film, printed publications or services from our
organization.

This year, in addition to the international programs, we are proud to
premiere four newly commissioned works that received full production
support from MONO NO AWARE;
The Meadows, a hand-drawn cell animation on 16MM by Maya Edelman.
For Cynthia, a 2-D cutout and hand drawn animation on 16MM by Nora
Rodriguez.
Stepping Into The Frame, a triple-projection performance on 16MM by Lauren
Noelle Oliver.
Deprivation, a narrative short with stop motion on 16MM by Caity Arthur.

Please share widely, with friends, family and colleagues.
Opening night is Wednesday November 30th at 7 PM. * Less than 10 days
away! *
All films will screen in their original film format.
