[Frameworks] Jane

[Brian Wilson]

 I got to meet Jane in 2019 when I was in Denver showing some of my 16mm work. We remained pen pals over the few years since. 
For the 20 years prior to my meeting her, my concept of her had been forged by her appearances in the films. She was more myth than reality. But getting to know her opened my eyes to just how complex and funny and deeply creative she really was. 
I was glad to call her a friend for at least that short period of time.
