What projector is this?  Marc-300 lamps?  Xenon?  Incandescent?

Marc-300 lamps will start green and move to pink and if you follow the
directions in the manual you will start them up, wait half an hour for
them to stabilize, and then replace the lamp after 25 hours.  People do
not do this because it would be insanely expensive given the difficulty
of getting those lamps today.  But the color change over the life of the
lamp is very dramatic.

If it is a Marc-300 lamp are you using the correct lamp and the correct
power supply?  Power supplies for Marc-350 lamps will give weird colors and
very short lamp lifespans with Marc-300 lamps.

If it is a xenon lamp, give it 15 minutes to warm up and then look at the
lamp current.  Is it within the red marks on the meter?
