Sorry for the self promotion but I have 3 portrait films of mine to
suggest. The first is my portrait of Virgil Thomson shot in the Chelsea
Hotel 6 months before he passed away and set to his self portrait
composition.

Second is one of my AIDS films - An Individual Desires Solution. A portrait
of my boyfriend Kevin who passed away in 1985. This film is considered the
first personal film from the AIDS epidemic. This might not be appropriate
for 8th grade students due to some language.

Third is the film Chamnan.

You can preview excerpts of the films on my website:

If you find any of these films of interest please email me and I can give
you the passwords to the full films on Vimeo.

Thanks,
Lawrence Brose
