[Frameworks] Best programs for screening

I know I'm the one that asked the question, but I'm going to throw one out
there that will blow your minds: The built-in Music app on Macs (formerly
known as iTunes).
I've used it for years and never had an issue.  It can handle different
file formats and resolutions and aspect ratios with ease, you can adjust
start and end points and volume of individual videos, it works great with
dual monitors (second monitor being your projector of course), and it has
minimal visible UI that basically only shows up if you press pause.
