[Frameworks] Question about external frame counter to connect to camera

I've had pretty good results with a device from ebay.

Maybe a bit bulkier than I would have liked but it's cheap, nice and bright
and will count up or down (handy if your camera films forwards and
backwards, as mine does) There is also a reset button, an it remembers the
frame count for some time after it's power is switched off. Easy to wire up
to the PC flash or pulse sync for very accurate frame counting.
