Dear Frameworkers,

my film *RAPTURE I – VISIT* (18 min, 2023) is currently available to view
for free online until the end of this month, as part of HMKV’s *Video of
the Month*:

RAPTURE is originally a two-part installation (video + VR) centering on
Ukrainian Vogue dancer Marko and his confrontation with his abandoned
apartment in the Donbas, digitally reconstructed through 3D photogrammetry.
In *RAPTURE I – VISIT*, Marko returns virtually to a home he cannot access
in reality.

The work explores how digital technologies mediate psychic dislocation,
whether they offer healing, reconquest, or simply intensify the trauma of
loss. Can a technological rapture replace or transform the experience of
exile, or does it deepen the confrontation with what is gone.

I thought this might be of interest to those reflecting on how experimental
cinema engages displacement, embodiment, and the psychic impact of
immersive media.
