One where the film doesn't break or scratch, but rather becomes misaligned in 
the projector gate, and the now visible framelines become part of the narrative 
is the musical HELLZAPOPPIN'. And of course, SHERLOCK JR. could be considered to 
rupture the screen, if not the film material itself.
