[Frameworks] Recommended splicer for both 16mm and 8mm cuts?

I just looked on ebay for "splicer" 16mm and it came up with what would have been my first 3 suggestions. Assuming you are looking for a hot (or glue) splicer, The Maier-Hancock is great. There is also a Lomo that looks good, though I've never used it.

If you want a simplified tape splicer, the Kodak Quick splicer is an option, though I've always hated the S shaped cut it makes.
