Mana Contemporary and the Chicago Underground Film Festival are very
pleased to present *Luther Price: Flesh Fracture**,* an exhibition of
recent work by Luther Price at Mana Contemporary Chicago opening on Friday,
June 3rd with a reception from 6 to 8pm and continuing through August 12th.
This exhibition is concurrent with a screening of two of Price’s newly
restored films at the Logan Theater on June 4th at 8pm as part of the
Chicago Underground Film Festival.

 This exhibition features selections from three series of Price's handmade
35mm slides, Sugar Fractures (2015), *Meat: Chapter 3 *(2015), and
*Utopia *(2013)
courtesy of the artist and Callicoon Fine Arts. Digital loops of Price's
super 8 films *Home* (1999) and *Meat* (1992) appear courtesy of Anthology
Film Archives.

This exhibition is co-sponsored by Mana Contemporary and The Chicago
Underground Film Festival (CUFF). On Saturday June 4th, CUFF will screen
two recent Anthology Film Archives' digital restorations of his classic
Super 8 films, Clown (1992/2003) and A (1995) courtesy of Anthology Film
Archives. The films will screen at the Logan Theater on June 4th at 8pm.

Luther Price: Flesh Fracture is on exhibition on the 4th floor gallery of
Mana Contemporary Chicago. Gallery hours are Monday to Friday, 11AM to 5PM
and Saturday 12PM to 4PM. Mana Contemporary is located at 2233 South Throop
Street (Entrance on East side of the building).
