[Frameworks] Avant-Garde film and Hollywood special effects in the 1970s & 80s

Thank you to Albert and graemehogg for your responses. I don't have much to
report back though. Gregory Zinman, Andrew Robert Johnston, and Alla
Gadassik are all doing work in this area. That's all I found so far.
