Adam and all,

Here's an interview I did with Woody Vasulka in Santa Fe in 1992. Excerpts
have been published in my curator's essay for *Surveying the First Decade*
(1992) (a 17 hour collection distributed by Video Data Bank) and in
Squeaky Wheel's "Squealer" (Buffalo, NY). This interview offers a clear
guide to Woody's critical contributions to video art (e.g. his interest in
using the Rutt-Etra to "un-hinge" the video frame), the Vasulkas'
structural media aesthetic as well as the generosity and sense of community
also demonstrated by Woody and Steina including their co-founding of the
Kitchen, etc).
