I am late to respond to this thread, but the many expanded cinema events that I’ve organised over the years may be of interest.

In 2004 & 2006 there were two large surveys of expanded cinema, in Stuttgart and Dortmund, with many of the artists/filmmakers present to perform their work.

I’ve also included British expanded cinema and multi-screen films within the many different iterations of the “Shoot Shoot Shoot” series, and in the weekend of Filmaktion performances at Raven Row, London, in 2017.

Details of all this and more can be found in the archive of my curatorial work at www.markwebber.org.uk

For those in Vienna, several programmes of work from the early years of the London Film-Makers’ Co-op (inc. expanded cinema and double screen films) will be presented by the Filmmuseum form 14-17 March 2019.
